This is a charming little cottage situated in a picturesque little village, where you’ll find a well-stocked butcher’s, an excellent bakery and a very handy Spar supermarket. The village also has three restaurants; we had dinner at Café Castillon, where the food was excellent. The walk from the house to the village centre follows a very pretty tree-lined road, and it was a pleasure to pop down to the bakery every day to buy fresh bread. The interior of the house is very well laid out and each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The garden is charming and well-designed, with both sunny and shaded areas. A very practical outdoor dining area is situated right next to the kitchen, making it easy to prepare and serve meals. Sylvie is a lovely host who explained everything to us and gave us valuable advice on places to visit and nearby restaurants and cafés. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to return.

Very well laid out and tastefully decorated, the house is a real pleasure to stay in. We’ve already been here twice to spend the festive season with the family and we haven’t been disappointed! The four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, allow everyone to have their privacy whilst still spending time together in the large living area. The house is situated in a peaceful and idyllic setting in Paradou. We found it to be a very clean, tastefully furnished house. It has four bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom (shower and toilet). The spacious living/dining room offers plenty of room for two families. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need to prepare meals. The garden is large and well-maintained. The heated swimming pool, a real highlight of the garden, is ideal for families with children. There is a pétanque court right next to the house. The large terrace is furnished with a seating area, a dining table and a gas barbecue. Parking is available on the property for at least three vehicles. Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a washing machine are included. The house is secured by an alarm system and a large electric gate. Our arrival went smoothly. Silvie is a very friendly and helpful host, always on hand to answer our questions. We had a wonderful stay at this magnificent property. Thank you, Silvie, for your warm welcome and excellent service. Additional information: Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mère (approximately). Arles, Les Baux and Saint-Rémy are approximately 50 km, 10–15 km and 35 km away respectively. Several vineyards are within easy reach. The village of Paradou has an excellent bakery, a very good butcher’s and a small supermarket (Spar). The market in Saint-Rémy comes highly recommended and we particularly enjoyed it.
